Yoga provides a therapeutic tool for recovery from injury, and is effective in healing tight, sore wrists, shoulders, and necks. Â By strengthening and gently stretching the muscles around the joints, improving posture and body mechanics, and reducing inflammation by increasing circulation, yoga relieves and then alleviates joint and muscle pain.
In this workshop, Timothy specifically addresses the causes of wrist, shoulder and neck pain, and provides simple solutions to relieve pain, tightness and tension in these areas. Â You will learn a comprehensive set of tools for healing these parts of your body through yoga postures, yogic breathing, meditation, and acupressure points. Â You will also receive a printed sequence of yoga poses and a resource guide to articles, books, videos, and websites addressing the systems covered in the workshop.
